St. Patrick's Day in Columbia 2008

St. Patrick's Day Parade

We took Baylee to her first St. Patrick's Day parade this spring. It was so much fun, they moved the parade from Harden Street to Devine Street, which was nice, because you didn't have any of the festival traffic in your way. We got there about 10 minutes before the parade started, but you could hear all the bagpipes and the bands cranking up their instruments, Baylee loved it, she thought all the colors and people marching were so cool! WNOK, the local radio station had a good float, and there were some others that were just plain funny! We really had fun, they threw beads, hats and candy to everyone on the sidewalk and Baylee had to have some of it all! She was so sad when it was over and didn't want to leave. We can't wait to take her again next year!

The start of the parade...

Baylee and Daddy getting into the spirit!

This was one of the silliest floats!

Baylee and Mommy waiting for the parade to start..

Baylee liked the Hardee's star!

She finally has her own necklace!

Daddy and Mommy loved the Parrothead float!

Here comes the radio station

Our armed forces were in the parade too, they had the army,
and the marines, it was so cool and everyone appreciated getting
to see them there!
