Update with the Causeys

I am writing this post to update everyone on what we have been doing lately, it seems like we have been recluses because of everything going on in the house. Everyday we have a contractor here doing work and we feel like we have to constantly watch them to make sure all the work is being finished properly. We are trying to finish the last little items in our house, before we all go crazy. Baylee's room is absolutely perfect, I am working to finish decorating her bathroom and then she will be set. Bryan and I have been working outside getting all the outdoor furniture ready for the spring time and hopefully the rest of the small things can be finished in the next two weeks, our furniture is all in place finally, it would just be nice to have all my lights on the wall and all the outlet plates on.

Bryan has been working really hard, I think sometimes he really needs to slow down and just breath, but I understand we are so ready to be settled! Baylee is doing fine, just growing like a weed and starting to walk, everyday she is getting more confident with it. She turned 13 months on the 21st of February and Bryan and I just are amazed at how grown up she is. She is babbling up a storm and honestly thinks she is having a legitimate conversation with you, it is so cute! I love her little personality, she is so happy and smiley all the time, we are extremly lucky!

... And the tree came falling down!

2734 Canterbury Tree

We decided to cut down one of our large pine trees in our front yard. It was dying in the top and it was in danger of falling onto our house. It was over 100 ft. tall and was just right in the middle of our yard. We called Mr. Bright with Bright's tree service, who has been in the business of taking down trees for over 4o years, he came out on a bright and sunny afternoon to take down the tree in question. First he tied a large rope to the top of the tree and then tied the other end to his SUV below, he moved the SUV out tightening the tension of the rope to make the tree pull away from the house, then he climbed up over 100 ft in the air and just scroll down to see what happened next...

We celebrated Boo's birthday on Sunday with cake and ice cream, but her REAL birthday was Monday. She was so excited to have 2 days to celebrate, these pictures were taken right before our special birthday lunch with Daddy!

On January 20th we celebrated Baylee's first birthday!! It was so much fun, she loved her cake and the singing, she would have us sing "Happy Birthday" to her everyday if she could! She is such a blessing and we are so lucky to be her parents, ever since she came into our lives, Bryan and I feel so special. Everyday is the most special with her! Happy Birthday sweetie pie! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!
