Halloween 2008

Halloween 2008
This was Baylee Boo's first Halloween and she loved it! I think her Daddy is rubbing off on her, he loves this holiday. They decorated the house the last weekend in September, so we were able to enjoy all the cobwebs and pumpkins all month long! Uncle William came over and trick or treated with them, I think they hit every house in the neighborhood, everyone loved their costumes! Baylee saw a few of her friends along the way and thought that it was so much fun! I stayed at the house and past out candy to everyone, it was the first neighborhood we have lived in to have trick or treaters, so I had a blast, while Bryan was with the kids! Bryan told me that Baylee refused to be carried and she didn't want anyone to take her Halloween bag, she wanted to carry it all by herself. William said that she ran down every sidewalk yelling "Tick r teat, tick r teat!" and then once they got to the door, she held her bag out with this huge grin on her face. She is too funny!
Happy Halloween!!! Boooooo!!!

South Carolina State Fair 2008

Baylee's first time at the South Carolina State Fair....
We took Baylee to the fair this year, we weren't sure if she would like it or not, but she surprised us with all that she did. She ate cotton candy, visited with all the animals, and rode the kiddie rides! She has no fear, which sometimes worries me, but I was so glad that she enjoyed her time at the fair, she wanted to ride all the rides, even the big kid rides, she kept saying "again, again, again Daddy!" It was so cute, and she even rode the bumble bees, which were the first ride that I ever rode too, so I got a little emotional watching her be such a big girl! It is amazing how fast she is growing up and growing into her little personality! Bryan and I couldn't be prouder of her and everything that she is becoming! We love you little Baylee boo!

Tasting her first cotton candy!

Can't decide what to do next...

Riding the bees, that was my first ride too!

Making Music!!

Bryan and I bought Baylee these platic straws for her sippy cup and she thinks they are so cool, but she found another purpose for them, she puts one in her mouth and when she blows into it, a unique sound comes out, we love to listen to her make her music!!!!
William's Soccer season 2008...
We went to William's soccer game at the YMCA fields over by Owens Field Airport, he has become such a wonderful athlete, I remember watching him from age 4 and now he is 8! Wow, how time flies, he has grown up so much, and is really a great soccer player! Bryan, Baylee and I watched from the sidelines and cheered him on, they ended up tying the game 0-0, but William was definitely the star of the game in our eyes! Go William!

NEW SHOES!!

And a froggy goes... Ribbett, Ribbett!

Baylee's Mimi gave her a pair of lime green slippers with little frogs on the top, she loved them and wants to wear them all the time, even when its hot outside, hope they make it to the winter time! She puts them on and runs around saying... ribbett, ribbett!

Fall has arrived at the Causey's

Yes... you know it is the FALL season when the Causey family starts to decorate for Halloween. I have a husband who loves Halloween, don't we all? No... Bryan is a little over the top, which is fine, I have grown to love it as much as he does especially since Baylee has been in our lives. She now loves it too, even though she probably doesn't really understand it. We spent the better part of the weekend decorating the front of the house for Halloween, we have several small pumpkins, two humongous spiders, a plethora of spider webbing and "BOB!" Yes, we have an unusually large pumpkin that was purchased a couple of years back and we named him, Bob! Bryan loves Bob and was so thrilled to see the look of excitement on Baylee's face when he pulled Bob out of the basement decoration closet. Bob now sits in our front window and lights up the house at night, he is the seasonal family member. Baylee goes around the house saying, "bob bob bob" everyday, she thinks that he is just wonderful! Everytime someone comes over, she grabs their hand and takes them to him, then she points, "BOB!" It is so hilarious! Her Gramie gave her a special Halloween book that has pop ups, there is one page with a huge pumpkin by the door and you open the door and there are trick-or-treaters and everytime she opens the door, she yells... "tick r teat BOB!" It is so funny, Bryan and I just laugh and laugh.
Once we get all of decor in place for this once a year thrill fest, I will most definitely post some pics, so you can all see Bob!

Sophie's 2nd Birthday!!

Sophie's 2nd Birthday Party 2008!!
Baylee was invited to Sophie Yauilla Schumpert's birthday party at the Virginia Hylton Park in Lexington, it is such a neat park, it has beautiful trees and is terraced in all different levels with lots of fun things to play on!! They had two tree houses, monkey bars, slides and Baylee's favorite the swings!! It was such a fun time, Bryan and I enjoyed the day, Baylee had so much fun swinging and eating cake! Shannon decorated the park with Little Mermaid decorations, which is Sophie's favorite Disney movie, and Derrick had a pinata for the kids, they all pulled the strings from the bottom of it and all these wonderful goodies fell from it! Baylee didn't quite understand it, everyone was down on the ground picking all the toys and candy up to put in the goody bags and Baylee was just watching... finally she got into the groove and was right down there with the rest of the crew grabbing whatever she could get her little hands on, it was so cute!! When the party was over, she was so tired and slept all the way home!
