Grand Cayman 2008

The Cayman Islands....

We went back to the Cayman Islands for our summer vacation with my Dad, Stephanie and William this year. It was so nice and peaceful! We stayed at Plantana #6 this year, we stayed in that condo last year and really liked it, I think this is the 3rd one we have tried in that complex and so far, my favorite. The moment you walk in the door you see blue ocean and white sand from every angle and let me tell you after the day we had getting there it was a sight for sore eyes! Usually our flight is so smooth, it is direct from Charlotte which is so nice, especially with children, but this year we boarded our plane and got Baylee settled in her seat and we actually sat on the plane for 45 minutes and then they made us deplane and board another one. That is a quick and painless version, but believe me... no part of it was either one. Baylee missed her window for a nap and so it was a little crazy for us, but... needless to say the minute we walked in the door, all of that didn't matter anymore it was peace and tranquility!

The complex is really nice, because it has so much lush vegetation and a nice pool and great beach. Dad and Bryan love it because you can snorkel right out your door and they can also take a quick bus to scuba dive! I love this place and I hope you can see why!
